Does anyone know what the VM failure is in the log for this work unit?

Message 48035 - Posted: 24 Apr 2023, 15:02:35 UTC - in response to Message 48034.

Same error as described here:
https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=5982&postid=47976
Same solution, except that here (so far only!) the ATLAS vdi is affected.

This worked great, thank you!

For another Windows machine, I get this message in the BOINC log
4/25/2023 8:15:20 PM | LHC@home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.
4/25/2023 8:15:20 PM | LHC@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU
4/25/2023 8:15:21 PM | LHC@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
4/25/2023 8:15:21 PM | LHC@home | No tasks sent
4/25/2023 8:15:21 PM | LHC@home | No tasks are available for ATLAS Simulation

The project settings are for Atlas tasks, of which presently there are plenty. Weird.

... another Windows machine ...

Which one?
Would be nice to have a link to it.

Based on the log snippet it is one of those:
https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10787099
https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10829158
https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10819083

There are usually 2 main reasons:
1. You ask for vbox work but checked "Run native if available?" for the venue.
=> unlikely, since you run only Windows computers and all of them may be in the same venue.

2. Your computer details page(s) show(s) this: "...CPU does not have hardware virtualization support".
This and possible solutions have been described in Yeti's checklist and uncountable forum posts.
