Hi,

I would like to know why may 8 ATLAS tasks are working sometimes and sometimes not, what are the conditions for them to be active? I have no limitation on my computer usage. Also I would like to know how the rates (totol and average) are computed?

Thanks.

You should take a walk through this checklist. It will give you all information you are asking for

Guess you focus on ATLAS only (no other LHC subproject).

Due to some non-obvious project limitations you may be able to get a stable configuration if you use one of the following settings.

1. A 2-core setup that enables you to run 2 VMs concurrently.

2. A 3-core setup that enables you to run 2 VMs concurrently and leaves 1 VM waiting in your work buffer.

To configure this, navigate to the web preferences and set max #CPUs to "2" or "3".

Then discard all tasks in your work buffer and request fresh work.
