Your personal background.
I'm a cruncher since early times of Seti@Home and started to crunch in early 2000.

Since the first BOINC-Beta-Versions I'm crunching with BOINC and for a long time I took part in all available BOINC-Projects.

Since LHC@Home came out it became my favorite project, unfortunately it has only rarely a little work.

With growing number of projects running under BOINC I was looking for projects, that could have a result / a benefit in our times. Even if we could identify a signal from extraterrestrials in Seti@Home, we can for a long time still not communicate with them.

So, I Focus today on CERN, my favourites are Atlas and Sixtrack. Hopefully I help them with my little contribution.

Your opinions about LHC@home
Atlas is one of the rare BOINC-Projects, that makes really use of the existing Hardware, needing Prozessor-Virtualising, 64Bit operating System and a lot of RAM / WU.
