Hello, I'm doing some tests with Boinc and Docker in win 11 . It's really working, doing the LHC Xtrack tasks. They're going very fast.¿ Are you thinking of enabling the rest of the tasks to work in Docker without needing to use VirtualBox?

XTrack runs native on Windows and Linux.
It does not need an additional layer like Docker or VirtualBox.

Hence, I wonder what you are testing.

Hello, it's easy to understand. I'm not going to downgrade the security features of Windows 11 and later to get VirtualBox to work with LHC on Windows 11 and later, and in fact, I can't recommend that users do that.
LHC will have to implement the solution using the resources they provide.

Furthermore, there's no step-by-step guide for Windows 11 to get VirtualBox working even if you downgrade Windows 11 security.
Everything can be solved with... "look at the forum and find a way," hahaha.
This demonstrates the lack of seriousness in this area.

Makes sense to follow all security suggestions you can get.
Here's another important one:
Since uncountable malware infections come via internet it is highly recommended to immediately unplug the network cable from your internet router.

This project can't solve issues between Windows and VirtualBox, especially since they seem to happen again with every new Windows update.
A link to the very detailed explanation/solution has already been posted.
All you need to do is to follow it:
