Since Docker has been a new alternative for Virtualbox witch is incompatible, and that BOINC have removed the BOINC+Virtualbox installation mode on https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php , please change Virtualbox into Docker

It has never been a requirement to use the VirtualBox version bundled to BOINC.
Instead, the most recent version can be downloaded from here:
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

In addition it is recommended to read this thread:

There is a Linux native version of the Atlas application. It does require specific steps to make it work though. For Windows it runs in VB.

I assume that this line (from your linked page)
Microsoft Windows running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU 0.04 16 Sep 2025, 12:36:12 UTC 0 GigaFLOPS

indicates that a modern processor running modern (64-bit) will run an XTrack (beta test) task in native mode. Of course this assumes that one is a member of the beta-test "chosen few", or such tasks are available. Also said tasks aren't out in the wild as the average processing rate is zero.

Correct. XTrack runs natively on Windows and Linux. I am running a bunch of them right now on the developer‘s side of the project. It looks like they haven‘t released any worrk here yet because they still seem to be tweaking the units to reduce calculation time. My longest ones took over 5 days to finish. Times have come done recently to around 24h so they may be almost ready for production. I would prefer still shorter times. At least checkpoints work.

Thanks.
Long run times don't worry me - I recall the early days of CPDN when tasks would run for weeks.....
