event log says "server can't open log file" when pushing the update button

today, on my Windows11 host I detected a few failed CMS tasks. Stderr looks like this: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/result.php?resultid=420097507 When trying to download new tasks, no tasks come in, and the BOINC event log says "Server can't open log file (../log_boinc02/scheduler.log)" Same thing happens when trying to download Theory tasks. I looked up the Virtual Box Manager > Virtual media: everything okay there. The one currently running Theory task is still running okay and will probably finish by tomorrow. What's going wrong? |

Yes, it seems to be almost random when you get the error and when some new tasks.

I notified CERN this morning. They replied this was caused by wrong file permissions and should be fixed now. |
