I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 Unity and successfully installed BOINC, lhc@home project + others, and the cvfms file system. Each project appears to be working properly yet all lhc@home ATLAS Simulation v3.01 (native_mt)x86_64-pc-linux-gnu tasks are reporting "Computation error" and "195 (0x000000C3) EXIT_CHILD_FAILED". Examples: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/result.php?resultid=419720289 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/result.php?resultid=419695596 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/result.php?resultid=419694154 The other three projects I run, Asteroids@home, Einstein@home, and Rosetta@home, all process work units successfully to completion and validation. BOINC ver: 8.0.2 OS ver: Ubuntu 22.04 Unity Linux kernel: 5.15.0-131-generic Virtualbox (6.1.40r154048) installed, CPU has hardware virtualization support and it is enabled. cvmfs ver: 2.12.6~1+ubuntu22.04 (cvmrepo.s3.cern.ch) Jakob Blomer <jblomer@cern.ch>

Fully qualifying the executable path name for libgtk3-nocsd.so.0 to "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgtk3-nocsd.so.0" when assigned to LD_PRELOAD does not eliminate this err. At least 1 of your logfiles report: [2025-02-20 05:50:09] Checking for apptainer binary... [2025-02-20 05:50:09] apptainer is not installed, using version from CVMFS Please try a local apptainer package from your Linux vendor. Keep in mind that ATLAS does not support suspend/resume and Theory does not support it on your system due to missing requirements (see the logs). In addition, although it works your CVMFS configuration seems to be incomplete.
