Your second PC have AMD-V disabled. The error is in the first pc, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with virtualization enabled. |

i remove VirtualBox 7 and i return to VirtualBox 6 and now it downloads wus This suggests BOINC cares about the installed VirtualBox version, but it doesn't. Instead it just checks if VirtualBox is installed and if hardware virtualization is enabled. Your most recent log reports VirtualBox 6.1.50 while your computer details page reports 7.1.2. This suggests your VirtualBox upgrades/downgrades got messed. Hence, you may need to completely remove VirtualBox before you install it again (most recent version is recommended). After removal and before a fresh installation you should also remove the directory "C:\Users\<your_user_name>\.VirtualBox\" to allow VirtualBox to create a fresh profile. |

AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics [Family 23 Model 104 Stepping 1] No, virtualization is enabled. It's an error of the lhc site. |

Hence, you may need to completely remove VirtualBox before you install it again (most recent version is recommended). I'll try to return to 7.x version. |

It's an error of the lhc site. Well, yes. Cpu supports virtualization? Yes Is virtualization enabled? Yes (both Windows Manager and Bios configuration are correct) Hyper-V is installed? No Are virtual machines running correctly on the pc? Yes So, if is not an error of lhc site, whose fault is it? |

Hence, you may need to completely remove VirtualBox before you install it again (most recent version is recommended). Great idea. I upgrade VirtualBox 7.1.4 to 7.1.6 (on the second pc) and now no machine starts. Error "NtCreateFile(\Device\VBoxDrvStub)" Remove all, reinstall all, launch VBoxDrv.inf install, same error. Well done, Oracle guys |

There are many Windows hosts getting tasks and returning valid results. This suggests your issues are NOT caused by LHC@home. In most cases not getting tasks on Windows is due to an option YOU set at your prefs page: "Run native if available? (Not recommended for Windows)" As for the "NtCreateFile" issue: There are hundreds of internet comments about that. In most cases another reboot solves it. As for the "hardening" issue it is recommended to start an investigation here: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=82106 |

What you can do is a clean Windows-ReInstall. This Function is possible in Windows. Had made it for one of my PC's. |

I fixed this issue by installing the latest version of VirtualBox(version 7.1.4) and the latest extension pack. Other things I did: downloaded the "ATLAS_vbox_3.01_image.vdi" directly from the browser(http://lhcathome-upload.cern.ch/lhcathome/download//ATLAS_vbox_3.01_image.vdi.gz) and pasted it in the ihcathome project folder because I thought the vdi file that boinc downloaded was corrupted.. Proof that it works: https://imgur.com/a/O09o90i Stderr log: https://pastebin.com/6SWy7Qxq |
