I've been trying to download data from Theory and ATLAS for a week now, but nothing. When I look at the server status on LHC, everything is running. What's going on?

Also it says that it can't see virtralbox again even though core isolation is disabled. I even ran a command that disables core registration in the windows registry

Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\" -Name EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity -Value 0

It worked for a while, and I could process LHC stuff. Now I can't get any work units.

This is frustrating and depressing. I follow the guides, and everyone who has responded has responded, but this project just keeps crashing for me.

I've been trying to get this working for months now, but I can't seem to get it stable.

The other thing is, why is there no screen saver like with Einstine? I want to see what's going on.

As for https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10863858:
It still reports hardware virtualization NOT being available.

As for https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10610013:
It reports lots of CMS tasks being sent to that computer:
https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/results.php?hostid=10610013

You will not get more tasks if
- your local buffer is full
- you set at least 1 task from this project to 'pause'

If you did the latter for CMS, disable CMS in your prefs (until further notice) and cancel and report all CMS tasks as they won't run any scientific payload anyway at the moment.
This would allow your computer to download other tasks like ATLAS.

You have for this PC:

GenuineIntel
13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KS [Family 6 Model 183 Stepping 1]
(32 Prozessoren)

no Hardware-Virtualisation active.
You can look into BIOS for Parameter VT-X.
This Parameter must be on.
If this is not possible, only
sixtrack (no work ftm) is possible.

Had a similar thing with my Windows PC after a recent update. Open up Windows Security, then on the left side select Device Security. Then click on Core isolation details and make sure Memory Integrity is turned off. This is what was stopping my machine from reporting Virtualisation as available.

The mem core isolation is off. It's been off. I think there is something with windows 11 24H2 with their security and BOINC trying to connect to VB. Are any of you running windows 11 24H2?

I ran a script a user gave me again and rebooted and it now sees VB and has full support.

Someone said I need to clear my local buffer? what did they mean by that because I can't seem to download any work units.

How do I delete a computer that is no longer running LHC@home
It does not give me the option to delete this 10863226 at all and it thinks it processing data.

You can't delete one you can just merge ones with the same name.

You can select 1 or more tasks and choose the abort option this will allow you to get new WUs

You can delete that computer when no tasks are in the database anymore.
At the moment that host still shows 833 tasks whereof 800 in progress.
