All of my CMS tasks on one of my systems are failing. VM loaded and enabled. Your VirtualBox installation might be broken, hence try this first: - remove VirtualBox - reboot - install a recent version from here - reboot Other advice The error happens on a computer reporting 4 cores. CMS requires VMs with 4 cores which uses up all available cores from that host. This is not recommended and may sooner or later lead to unexpected errors, see: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=77413 Hence, on this computer you may not run CMS. Instead run Theory (singlecore) and/or ATLAS (with up to 2 cores per VM). Other advice Please mark links as links as it makes it easier for other volunteers. I am also getting a load of failures, but also a load that complete fine. Your completed CMS tasks do not crunch anything, they just try to load jobs from the servers but there are none available. So they quit in less than half an hour with about 30 seconds of CPU time doing no actual work. There hasn't been any jobs available from the servers for the past week. The project has made a decision to give some minimal credit for these tasks.
