With the current jobs there is no monitoring from the events available with the Console keystroke ALT-F2, although a CMS job is running.
Also from the files "Index of /logs" the only empty file is running.log.

I noticed the same thing a few minutes ago.
So the question is whether these tasks are still okay and will yield scientific results, or are they faulty ???

Same here.

Looks like they do since they upload something to the usual destination that has the usual size.

Beside that other consoles show the usual output:

ALT-F3 (top)
look for "cmsRun"

ALT-F4 (may take a while to appear)
"WMAgent Run the job starting at ..."

ALT-F5 (may take a while to appear)
PCPU (= CPU usage in %)
PMEM (= MEM usage in %)

Further, I notice that the new series of CMS tasks yields a lot less credit points compared to before.

As always when the subtask queue was empty.
The more empty envelope tasks a computer has processed the higher the impact when work is back.

As for credits CERN has no influence on the BOINC server's algorithms.
This has been mentioned a couple of times for a couple of years.
The only thing CERN can do is to keep a steady subtask flow.

The running.log is empty, but after a cms subtask has been processed,
the data normally in the running.log is stored in the finished_1.log (finished_2 etc.).
This, however, in unformatted text.

There's a new CMS batch since this afternoon.
Looks like the subtasks proceed as usual but like the batch before they don't print a log to console 2.

Yes, but you can in Boincmanager for the CMS Task open the Graphic Button.
After this, your Browser opens a new page.
There are Information also for this task.

I'll remind Laurence of this -- my current job does show output for all other Alt-Fn (n=1-6).. Also the running.log isn't being refreshed in the "show graphics" web page.
