Did anyone work out a way to read the VM console output from the host operating system? I looked thouhg the files in the slots directory but there isn't anything there. |

The VM consoles usually present a top output or tail logfiles from inside the VM. You can inspect the logfiles of a selected task pressing the "show graphics" button. This requires the BOINC client and the VM running on the same computer. An optional method would be to start a webbrowser on the computer running the task. Check the task's stderr.txt for a line like 2022-12-31 11:47:01 (2379028): Detected: Web Application Enabled (http://localhost:40651) Then copy "http://localhost:40651" to the webbrowser's address line. Be aware that each task gets a random port number. |

There is some files in: slots\n\boinc_WUName\Logs they aren't the same as whats show in the Fn-F2 screens of the VM though |

I tested it out and it doesn't work as expected. Either the webpage is the wrong one or it never loads up. I can use the screenshot function then OCR the picture to see what the console output but this is sub-optimal I would say. |
