Oops, I posted this twice to the -dev board, not once there and again here -- sorry! CMS is about to release a new version of WMAgent based entirely on python 3. They have asked that they be able to update our agent by Monday evening (23/08), so I will not inject any new workflows before the upgrade. I expect the job queue to drain by late on Sunday. |

Hello,,, thanks for information. Unfortunately, LHC @ Home does not have any Nvidia Graphic Cards projects. I have an Asus Turbo 1080 TI and unfortunately I cannot use it. I would be happy if Nvidia graphic cards are supported in the near future. Thanks in advance. |

SixTrack might be the first GPU candidate here but it may still take a while. Hence, GPU comments/questions should be posted here: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=5674 |

No. Tasks in progress should not be aborted. The goal is to dry out the WMAgent queue. If you abort a running task it's subtask would be added again to the queue. If you pause a running task it's subtask would not disappear from the queue. Your computer shows a work buffer with 26 ATLAS, 6 Theory and 6 CMS tasks. In this case the suggestion would be to uncheck CMS in your preferences. Then all CMS task that are not yet started can safely be cancelled. Check CMS again after the server upgrade has been done. Just pausing CMS tasks would have another unwanted side effect: None of your LHC@home projects would get any fresh work. |

Things seem to be going as planned, for once. The queues are empty and there are just 90 jobs still out in the field, so CMS IT should have a clear space to upgrade our WMAgent tomorrow. I'll let you know when I've inserted a new workflow. In the meantime, it's recommended to deselect the CMS project in your preferences, or set No New Tasks if you only run CMS tasks. |

The update is done and jobs are available again. Proceed at will. The app has changed? In Application's page there is still 50.00 version (03/09/2020) |

The app didn't change. The WMAgent has been upgraded. That's a backend component required to queue subtasks. |
