You may take a look on your computer details page: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10685850 Your BOINC client is not able to identify the CPU of your computer. => "CPU type" is shown empty Your BOINC client is also not able to identify whether your CPU has hardware virtualization support. To run VBox apps from LHC@home hardware virtualization support is a must. You will not get any of them unless you solved that issue. SixTrack is the only app here that doesn't need VBox, but it currently has no tasks to be send out. |

This PC have the new M1-Chip from Apple. Maybe, it need something more then the Standard-Installation from the software-side. |

This laptop does have the Apple M1 chip. So I have to wait for a future update of the BOINC client? |

You will need both, a BOINC client as well as a VirtualBox version that can deal with the M1. https://github.com/BOINC/boinc https://www.virtualbox.org/ |

That doesn't explain why other projects are running successfully on boinc/M1 |

Other projects? There's just one project (Rosetta) from your project list that got recent credits for this computer: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/show_host_detail.php?hostid=1530780 Like here the computer details there show no CPU with an M1 GPU attached 2012-04-01. Guess this was neither a very early M1 sample nor an April Fools' Day joke. More likely would be that you restored an existing BOINC installation from an older computer. This may work with traditional BOINC apps like that from Rosetta. It may also work with SixTrack but not with complex apps using an additional intermediate software layer like VirtualBox. Be aware that the LHC app list (https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/apps.php) explicitly specifies Intel 64-bit to be used as Apple platform. |

OK Thanks. We'll see what happens with M1 support in the future. Cheers. |

It's not possible to make any suggestions as long as your computers are hidden. You may make them visible for other volunteers here: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/prefs.php?subset=project |
