You may allow other volunteers to view your computers: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/prefs.php?subset=project Then we would be able to see if they all appear in your computer list. |

You may allow other volunteers to view your computers: It's done the computer is 195.154.174.152 soleil-host.arial-concept.com Sam. Powered by Debian & Ubuntu 20.04 Boinc version 7.16.6 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu |

Your computer list shows only 1 entry: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/hosts_user.php?userid=785785 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10679626 That computer successfully returned a couple of results and has still a few tasks in progress. A 2nd computer is not listed although you mentioned it in your OP. Did you correctly attach that one to the project? Be aware: Don't copy the complete BOINC client directory tree from your 1st computer to the 2nd. This would also copy client_state.xml where the project's hostid is stored. If you would do this and the hardware/OS version of both computers are nearly the same they might be mixed in the server DB. To avoid this you may temporarily set <ncpus>N</ncpus> in cc_config.xml of your 2nd computer to a different value and "read config files". Then attach the 2nd computer to the project and ensure both appear under individual IDs. Now it's save to restore the original <ncpus> value. Regarding <ncpus> see: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Client_configuration |

Apparently it seems that the problem comes from version 6.10 of Boinc too old and whose security certificate is outdated. That's what someone told me on Boinc's Linux forum. That outdated version has a EXPIRED SECURITY CERTIFICATE. Best to update to the latest version and go from there. But I'll try to copy the /boinc-client directory on the 2nd machine as you said. Right. Older BOINC clients may use outdated CA certificates. Since there are additional reasons not to use v6.10 any more I would suggest to upgrade BOINC. But I'll try to copy the /boinc-client directory ... I suggested to do this with care since just using a complete copy might mess the computer record for both boxes on the project server. You must ensure that each computer gets it's individual hostid! |

Right. Ok but I can't upgrade the machine it's a Debian v6.0 vserver kernel. But I'll try to copy the /boinc-client directory ... I suggested to do this with care since just using a complete copy might mess the computer record for both boxes on the project server. Ok i'll change some parameters in client_state.xml file before attach the project and I will look to the server if I got different computer hostID. Thanks for your help ! Sam.
