Since Virtual Box is used for the tasks from my point of view it is not possible to use OPENCL. How can this be achieved to improve the computation power?

Roughly a year ago Riccardo from the CERN team wrote a comment regarding GPUs:

Looks like GPU development is limited to SixTrack since it is much less complex than the scientific apps running at VMs.
The latter require a special runtime environment with access to DBs and software repositories typically developed to be used at computing centers.
Might be a huge effort to provide all of that for GPUs and ensure the output is the same.
At that point reliability and reproducibility count more than speed.
