Keep trying. It isn't serious, only joking.
Maybe try adding an additional project, such as Theory.
You will get something eventually.

You may check at your preferences page (https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/prefs.php?subset=project) if "Run native if available?" is accidentally switched ON.
To get ATLAS or Theory work on Windows computers this option must be switched OFF.

It is unchecked. Always has been.

Yeah I guess I will have to open up to Theory if Atlas can't crank out enough tasks.

It isn't just that it gets you Theory. It will prime the pump for ATLAS too eventually.
No one knows how it works, but it does (sort of).

Have been running theory for awhile now. Cleared out all the jobs in my queue and then reset the project. No tasks for ATLAS.
Anyone know if the project is out of work or if this is some sort of weird BOINC thing?

Do your prefs in LHC@Home allow using other projects as Theory?

I have set this machine to get native ATLAS, Theory and SixTrack, and it usually works.
https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/results.php?hostid=10664973

I use a different machine for CMS.
Maybe that is the magic combination? It may change over time.

Nothing from anything.
Even reset the project. Still nothing.

Checked my jobs list, everything is fine there and what jobs I get complete ok and get validated.

Looking in the project folder there is still a theory task that has not been removed, even though boinc manager does not have anything in it.

I was told earlier to put Theory on to see if that would trigger ATLAS, but all that did was allow only 100% Theory tasks to come in. Then those ran out and wouldn't load, so I added CMS, but there is nothing there.

The project server works fine and other volunteers get lots of ATLAS tasks.
To check some of your local settings you may locate the file "global_prefs_override.xml" in your BOINC working directory and post it's content here.

I know there is lots of work, that is why I find it odd my system is not getting any.
So here is a copy of the XML file you requested. This has never been touched.

I don't know what changed in BOINC, but now I can get ATLAS again.
I swear the computer gremlins are out to get me sometimes.
