New Atlas tasks on the Server are dropping quickly down to zero. From more of 4k to 2k in half a hour... and the weekend is coming ;-) |

I think its automated when the BOINC tasks are created, for CMS when the drain the WMAgent there is still BOINC work and they run for 10 min an quit as there is no work but they keep coming on the BOINC side |

Hello. Computer https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10750907 does not take tasks and in the event log I have a message "This computer has finished a daily quota of 1 tasks". What to do to remedy this? |

This is a typical entry from your logfiles: VBoxManage.exe: error: AMD-V is disabled in the BIOS (or by the host OS) (VERR_SVM_DISABLED) Vbox tasks from LHC@home require hardware virtualization to be available through VirtualBox. This is either disabled in your BIOS (=> enable it) or another hypervisor (typically Hyper-V) controls it (=> disable Hyper-V and all related components, then reboot). |

We had a problem with the system submitting ATLAS tasks which was fixed this morning. Everything looks to be back to normal now. |

Hello. I'm getting this message too on one machine. That machine is not set up for ATLAS tasks but this is the only mention anywhere on the forums of this message. Anybody have any idea what's going on? Thanks. |

Usually it means that your computer is failing to crunch the tasks and is just getting errors. So server stops sending you new tasks (only one per day allowed) until the host finishes some tasks successfully. |

So server stops sending you new tasks (only one per day allowed) until the host finishes some tasks successfully. Ah! That makes sense. I'm apparently getting some "ACCESSDENIED" errors. Since they are happening running Theory I'll take the follow-up question there. Thank you very much, Harri, for your help. |
