Indeed, it is. A very rare occasion.
SixTrack has a lot of WUs at the moment. Why not crunching those until ATLAS tasks return!?
Theory has tasks, too.

Sorry, i forgot about CMS, because i don't use Virtualbox. Only native applications or SixTrack...
But i hope ATLAS tasks will be back soon, since it's my favourite project.

There were problems last night with the submission machines losing file system mounts, but now they are working again and new tasks should be coming in.

Unfortunately this problem happened again last night so we had an empty queue again. But now we have found and fixed the root cause and so hopefully it shouldn't happen again.

First Atlas task done and validated in 2021. But why my CMS tasks all fail when Condor reaches 10656 s?

FYI. The queue is getting low, 19 left but over 41000 in progress (more than 10000 increase today). So far the job graphs don't show the high numbers. Maybe a lot of new users? Anyway we may have a bumpy ride on Atlas this weekend.

The number of Atlas-Task for download is small, but get some tasks for -native half a hour ago.

The Job statistics show a stable number of 30000 concurrently running tasks since the beginning of March.
Yesterday that number jumped up to more than 40000.

The average runtime per task is 2 h which means CERN has to hand out an average of 20000 tasks per hour.
Each task downloads an EVNT file of (currently) 350 MB.

Altogether this results in a continuous transfer rate of roughly 15.5 Gbit/s.
Not included are additional transfers while tasks are running (same magnitude), result uploads (50 % of the download rate), network usage not caused by ATLAS.

No new Atlas tasks since two hours!
So, it is in the Server-Environment. We have to wait up to monday.

Last hight two CentOS8-VM got Atlas tasks. No Windows tasks. Normally running 20 Tasks now only 6.
It must be no complete Server-Problem. Network-Traffic?
