I currently work on Theory Simulation. Is it possible to chose Atlas, for example ?

You can select ATLAS in your project preferences.

SixTrack will also work on this computer.


ATLAS should be limited to use not more than 2 cores.
It will then require 4800 MB RAM which is close to the installed RAM (6 GB).

A 1-core limit would require only 3900 MB RAM and leaves more headroom for the OS and other work.


In addition it is recommended to install the VirtualBox Extensions and to set the BOINC CPU throttle to 100%.
