CVMFS is a network filesystem developed at CERN to distribute huge amounts of data. It is included in each VM if you run vbox tasks. If you run ATLAS native or Theory native you must install a local CVMFS client which will connect your machine to CERN's data repositories. Detailed infos about CVMFS can be found here: https://cvmfs.readthedocs.io/en/stable/ https://cernvm.cern.ch/portal/filesystem/quickstart The ATLAS and Theory sections of the message board provide additional infos, especially how to setup the required software on a volunteer's host: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=4840 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=4758 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=4971 Be aware that ATLAS also requires Singularity. |
