Do I need to have hardware virtualization turned off in order to run Theory applications? To run Theory Simulation your computer must have hardware virtualization support and it must be enabled. Hence this computer should be able to run it: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10528360 "Virtualbox (5.2.20) installed, CPU has hardware virtualization support and it is enabled" This computer will not be able to run Theory Simulation: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10545397 "... CPU does not have hardware virtualization support" |
