Goodbye LHC....No tasks, time to remove the project.

Tried: Resetting the project Reinstalling BOINC Delete VirtualBOX VMs Combined with rebooting and such. NEVER any new tasks for months. No error messages. Have wasted too much time on this project. No more patience for such a pain in my bum. Good luck, but my computing power is best spent on other projects (seeing as you don't want to give me any tasks)... |

Your computer details show that you got nothing else but SixTrack tasks in the past. SixTrack had no tasks available for months but they announced fresh work to be available soon: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=4278&postid=37294 To get other work, e.g. Theory or ATLAS, you'll have to activate them at your preferences page: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/prefs.php?subset=project Other subprojects don't have work, so it makes no sense to activate them. I suggest to start with Theory and if it doesn't send work you may post the entries from your communication log that you get when you press "update project" in the "number crunching" thread. |
