When I look at the transfers page in the BOINC manager I do not see any upload file when the LHCb task is finished.
Does a finished LHCb workunit not result in a upload file?

There is no result transfer via the BOINC client (like for ATLAS).
Instead the result of each "job" (see your stderr.txt) is transferred from within the VM to CERN.
This usually happens via TCP port 9148.

If you are able to do a connection based network monitoring, e.g. using squid, iptables and socat on a linux gateway, you may notice transfers like this:
[22/Jun/2018:08:29:06 +0200] "CONNECT lbboinc01.cern.ch:9148 HTTP/1.0" 200 62709983 "-" "-" TCP_TUNNEL:HIER_DIRECT
[22/Jun/2018:09:39:54 +0200] "CONNECT lbboinc01.cern.ch:9148 HTTP/1.0" 200 62900252 "-" "-" TCP_TUNNEL:HIER_DIRECT
[22/Jun/2018:10:57:27 +0200] "CONNECT lbboinc01.cern.ch:9148 HTTP/1.0" 200 54060778 "-" "-" TCP_TUNNEL:HIER_DIRECT
[22/Jun/2018:12:09:40 +0200] "CONNECT lbboinc01.cern.ch:9148 HTTP/1.0" 200 66425410 "-" "-" TCP_TUNNEL:HIER_DIRECT

In this case there were 4 results between 54 and 66 MB.
