You can set your web settings to no limits, for the time being this will enable more tasks ...I have just tried this setting - to no effect :-( |

I made app config to put it back to one. <app_config> <app_version> <app_name>Theory</app_name> <plan_class>vbox64_mt_mcore</plan_class> <avg_ncpus>1</avg_ncpus> </app_version> </app_config> |

the queue is empty. Before, the the tasks were running out of jobs. So, I guess the reason for no new tasks is that there are not jobs. Any idea when they will become available again? |

Theory-native have also Tasks.yes, indeed. However, I am wondering what sense it makes to make available more than 1000 tasks for about 30 "native" users, and the many more VM users have not tasks at all. |

native Theory is every Task only ONE Calculation (Pythia8, Sherpa ;-), etc.) |

It's obviously something in the workflow feeding VM based CMS and Theory that fails. Theory native as well as ATLAS and SixTrack get their jobs from other workflows. Hence their queues hand out tasks. |

https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/results.php?hostid=10476867&offset=0&show_names=0&state=4&appid=13 How is that possible running single core Theory tasks? Just wondering since I was seeing some real short multi-core Theory tasks for several hours getting less than 70 credits running 2 and 4 core tasks. (of course most of the members on the Theory average page are hidden so that is all I could look at) |
