The LHCb application has been updated and is working again.

Despite some firewall issues the new version is now running for 2 h.


And here are the firewall issues.

1. Requests to port 443 on *.compute.amazonaws.com
The VM sends a series of requests to a couple of amazon IPs. All of them to port 443.
Until now my firewall allowed only destination IPs to/from CERN IP ranges or a couple of partners like fnal.gov or rl.ac.uk.
Can you confirm that *.compute.amazonaws.com is a valid partner for the production environment?
If so, can you post a complete domain name that can be used in the firewall configuration?


2. Packets from lbvobox46.cern.ch to DIRAC ports on my hosts
Those connections are normally allowed as they are documented in the FAQ.
Nonetheless it is suspect as they normally have to be initiated from inside the VM.

Be so kind as to check the VM's connection setup and post a short explanation.
