I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this, but I'm seeing the following in my BOINC client's event log. 3/23/2017 11:34:33 PM | LHC@home | No tasks are available for ATLAS Simulation Should I be seeing that message, or is there something I need to change with my configuration? Thanks, Dave |

There seems to be plenty in the queue. Did you enable in project preferences? inc test apps? I see this because the total number of tasks is limited. 4279 LHC@home 24-Mar-17 7:11:17 No tasks are available for ATLAS Simulation 4282 LHC@home 24-Mar-17 7:11:17 This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress could be you have limited the maximum number of tasks? |

I don't believe I've limited the maximum number of tasks. I don't even know how I would go about configuring that. I have ATLAS enabled in the project preferences and I've also enabled test apps. |

I don't believe I've limited the maximum number of tasks. I don't even know how I would go about configuring that. I have ATLAS enabled in the project preferences and I've also enabled test apps. Then the Server limits the number of WUs for Atlas to the max usable cores of your BOINC-Configuration. So, on a Box with 8 cores, you allowed BOINC to use 75% of the available cores, you will get max 6 Atlas-WUs (75% of 8) If you want to change this, go to project-preferences, there you can change this to a fixed number of you own Supporting BOINC, a great concept ! |

The reason I started this thread was because my BOINC client had no tasks running for ATLAS and wasn't downloading any. I have two computers running BOINC and both of them are managed using BOINCstats. My MacBook Pro has no problems downloading new tasks for ATLAS, but for some reason my Windows 10 box isn't downloading any. |

From the log-file of your single Atlas-WU: 2017-03-22 23:17:23 (9624): Hardware acceleration failed with previous execution. Disabling VirtualBox hardware acceleration support. 2017-03-22 23:17:23 (9624): ERROR: Invalid configuration. VM type requires acceleration but the current configuration cannot support it. 2017-03-22 23:17:23 (9624): NOTE: VirtualBox has reported an improperly configured virtual machine. It was configured to require hardware acceleration for virtual machines, but your processor does not support the required feature. Please report this issue to the project so that it can be addresssed. Error Code: ERR_CPU_VM_EXTENSIONS_DISABLED Go to my checklist V3 and check Nr 4 und 5 Supporting BOINC, a great concept ! |

I remember enabling hardware acceleration when I first built the box, but when I checked using that tool, it was disabled. I rebooted into the UEFI settings and re-enabled it and the tool gives me two green checkmarks. However, I'm still not getting any tasks from ATLAS. |
