With this integration of ATLAS into LHC@home, I would have expected that the credits achieved from the ATLAS Project so far, are being transferred to LHC@home (in my case, we are talking about a total of 1.940.425 points, and RAC 5.684 Points).

However, my LHC@home account currently Shows a total of 31.833 Points (most of it comes from former vLHC@home), RAC is 230.

Why so?

The credits will be transfered when all the work units delivered in the former atlas@home be ended.(David Cameron)
Untill this time arrive , the statistics per application are not entirely filled.

Hi Erich, so far the ATLAS tasks have been enabled here and Looks like the ATLAS project is still sending work so the clock for credit migration hasn't started yet. The credit migration will be in the future when the majority of people have moved from the old site.

for vLHC this was about 4-8weeks after the shutdown of the older site.

hi folks, many thanks for your replies. It's clear to me now (I was just wonderung whether all ALTAS credits earned so far would be lost ...)

What I suspect though is: as long as the "old" ATLAS Project is sending work, many people will not change to LHC@home.
Whether it makes much sense to run these two instances in parallel for much longer time?

WU's from Alas@Home have been a bit sparse recently, but at least I still receive a few. I've yet to receive a single Atlas task via LHC@Home. Like a boring university course, I get way too much Theory, with only a few CMS and Sixtrack tasks to liven things up a bit. And yes, I have the Atlas box ticked on the preferences page.

No it doesn't :) But we can't shut down the old project before making sure the new one is working ok and that there is enough work to do here. This morning we got a whole bunch of new tasks so we are almost there with taking it out of beta.

Brummig, have you ticked the "Run test applications?" as well? ATLAS application is still beta on LHC@Home, so you need to tick that option in order to receive ATLAS tasks here.
We are the product of random evolution.

Thanks, HerveUAE. I probably wasn't paying enough attention, as I got the impression normal ATLAS tasks were being created for LHC@Home a couple of weeks ago. However, it seems that whilst that was true, these were still being released as Test tasks. Hopefully now that ATLAS@LHC@Home is out of beta (I just saw the announcement), once my PC has ploughed its way through several Theory tasks I'll start getting ATLAS tasks.

is this to mean that, in order to receive ATLAS tasks, in the settings "run test applications also" can be unchecked?

According to this post, the system of badges will continue. I do not know, if they will extend this to the other applications.

Yes, the ATLAS badges will be moved here, but it requires the per-app credit to be fixed first. I am not sure what the plans are for the other projects.

An hour ago, in BOINC I inadvertantly pushed the "update" button on the old "ATLAS" project, and - to my surprise - a new task was downloaded.
How come?
Will it be properly uploaded after it gets finished, yielding credits?

It was a resend.
From the same workunit one task did not return before the deadline and 2 others had a validate error after a very short run time.
You will get credit (on ATLAS) when validated OK and that will transfer to LHC@home after all tasks on ATLAS has returned.
