Hi Bill; just back in Geneva. Trying to figure out how I can get
you to run some tests for me. Eric.

Have bunch of inconclusives last days. Most of them PNI. Same tasks performed on SSE2 by others successfully completed. All desktops represented once as I see - so no issue with hosts, issue with tasks itself it seems.

In SETI@home, Number Crunching, there is a thread Invalid Host Messaging. There are hosts sending thousands of invalid results, mostly due to graphic boards with wrong drivers.

What's the latest on this Eric?
(I've not monitored results in a while, & just caught up with this thread)

Ah good to hear 1 of them replied! :)

One of us)

We're all one team. As I see 12k active users and 20k active hosts it is amazing that a vast impact project has.
SO I urge everyone to check their error and invalid and inconclusive tasks on regular basis to see any kind of irregularities so it could be fixed asap.

When I said 1 of them, I was referring to a user with major host problems, as per this thread.
I never said they weren't part of the project, btw most of us are in different teams ;) :P.

Lol, I'm little shocked. In fact - I very rare looked to separately Boinc accounts, because I using BAM and I checking my results almost every day on that site. Two years ago you people sent me 4 messages that my host (10137504) made trouble to LHC community. This is laptop my wife and I didn't control it. At this moment I will close this host because is to noisy when crunching and she have normal case computer now. Maybe I will move machine account to new computer, I will see. But I'm very very sure that problem was not on my side and that was some errors in Boinc or LHC applications. Hardware is alright and working and crunching another project with any errors till today... Anyway, will try look PW more often ;)

And sorry for my English, I still learning. Google translate to polish was... funny ;P

Lol, and did you actually mean to say 'without any errors till today'? ;)

Thanks for your messages. I'll get back soonest.
Sorry for slowness, we have CERN infrastructure problems
and perhaps some sort of overload on the server. Eric.

Yes, @[TA]Assimilator1. With any errors. I mistake last time and wrote "project", but i mean "many another projects". Of course, error is happens, for example when my 3 years child running around and sometimes for fun push reset button ;) Many projects, especially using GPU, at that situation finish task with error. Is frustrate with climatpredictions.net when task have 3-4 days long. Never mind.

I uninstaled BOINC on laptop and move configuration files to another computer that was run on Prime64 test over one week continuously with any issues. Stable like the rock.

This is question for administrators - if LHC project is block on my host (10137504), please unlock it. Many thanks! :)

Hi aqvario. All seems OK. You were just "unlucky".
In this study new10_round_317_w7 in workspace w7
the particles seem to be very unstable and are lost
after just 1 or 2 turns (especially at high amplitudes
like 20_22). This is all part of the big picture and
determining the limits of stability. Thanks. Eric.

Noticed today that I have 81 Inconclusives, with almost all having this host as the wingman.

This one has the same issue.

Validation inconclusive (6975) · Valid (5333) · Invalid (13870) · Error (23)

Together these two seem to be generating quite a few incorrect valids.
