I hope uploads are OK again now.
I am actively working on a solution.
It is a CERN side issue with AFS file system limits.
Eric.

Eric
Having uploads to http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch OK
but no reflection of new results at FREE-DC for second day.
My concern is: do you loose results or it's just statistics issue?

If you can see the numbers to the left, below your avatar, increasing, then work isn't being lost.

Eric - it does look to be a server issue here. The dump files in http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/stats/ haven't been updated for two days - those are the source data for FREE-DC and all other stats aggregators. There should be a chron job running to generate them every day, but it seems to have stopped.

Edit - but it's cleared itself now.

Also having uploading problems.

LHC are sending out to many WU:s at once and the server cannot handle it. Hmm..maybe LHC will learn from their mistakes?

It comes and goes. Some cleared this morning, but others are stuck again. It's as if whatever process takes them out of the upload area and transfers them to permanent storage can't quite keep up.

Almost all of my pending and inconclusive tasks are waiting to be sent out a 3rd time after not validating against wingmen or them having errors. I seem to remember this happening before where new work pushes its way to the front of the queue and old work gets stacked up at the back. There's a switch that can be set somewhere at the server that changes the queue order. With disk space seeming to be at a premium, getting the old work resent, crunched and cleared might free up some space rather than having it hanging around taking up space.

Thanks for that; I'll pass to Igor.
Space is OK for the moment but have to watch it. Eric.
