Project computing preferences are totally broken. I am unable to select or deselect applications. First I have to click Switch View as there is no edit button at all, and then the applications are not there. I realize the project somewhat in flux right now, but is this going to be fixed? It's been this way a few weeks. |

I realize the project somewhat in flux right now, but is this going to be fixed? It's been this way a few weeks. No I haven't. I guess I am confused what the difference is between the two, or rather why there are two. I see my machine shows up on both sites, and I can edit preferences normally at the https site, so I will make changes there. Thanks. |

I realize the project somewhat in flux right now, but is this going to be fixed? It's been this way a few weeks. I have the same problem. This is a website issue and has nothing to do with the clients. The edit control button for the website is missing and we are unable to change LHC@home computing preferences. I wanted to turn off work for all my computers for this week and the easiest way is to come here, go to the preferences selection, click edit, and unselect the applications. I suppose this maybe broken as you migrate vLHC applications, please check with the devs and see what's going on? Thanks! |

The old one is deprecated and is only useful for computers with old BOINC clients unable to use the HTTPS URL or to check the status of the SixTrack daemons that include the assimilators and validators. |

I wanted to turn off work for all my computers for this week and the easiest way is to come here, go to the preferences selection, click edit, and unselect the applications. You want me to go to 18 computers and check no work instead of doing it one time?!??! Besides, some of the machines are at relative and a friend's home. BTW, forget my earlier message. I made a browser navigation error by first coming to the old site, navigating to the new site then using back arrow. It was after 3am and I shouldn't have been trying to be doing diagnostic thinking. |

You want me to go to 18 computers and check no work instead of doing it one time?!??! Never heard about boinctasks ? Supporting BOINC, a great concept ! |

You want me to go to 18 computers and check no work instead of doing it one time?!??! Seen it before but never took the time to try it out. Does it handle all the remote services or does it rely upon Windows remote management to be enabled? (This is off-topic. I'll defer to the mods whether it's useful discussion to leave in the thread.) |

... definitly YES or does it rely upon Windows remote management to be enabled? nope BOINCTasks works with the RemoteFeatures of BOINC. But you will have to allow in WindowsFirewall that BOINC gets incoming connections (from BOINCTasks) and you will have to allow each BOINC-Client to accept remote-connections Supporting BOINC, a great concept ! |

Hello, The feature "Accept work from other applications if no work is available" doesn't seem to work. I set my preferences to work for Atlas only. This project seems to be out of work right now. Although i set to accept wu's from other projects (which are set to "no") if no work is available, my machine gets no work from other projects. This should be fixed, pretty please!?! Regards, djoser. If this feature does not work, we need to investigate whether there is a bug in the version of the BOINC server software we are using. There are ATLAS tasks ready to be sent, so you should soon get some, but there may be a lag with scheduling now that there are so many Sixtrack tasks. |

I tried this once again, but if there are no Atlas tasks, i still don't get work from any other project. Maybe someone can explain how preferences are to be set so that this feature SHOULD work. I am willing to test it out (again). By the way: Although there should be many wu's for Atlas i'm getting work only very irregular! I tried this once again, but if there are no Atlas tasks, i still don't get work from any other project. So far as I know this feature works only if Atlas is really out of work. Actual all projects have work, but Sixtrack has so many WUs to send that the scheduler can't handle this successfull. Relax and wait until the amount of Sixtrack-WUs is done and then test it again. I can tell, you this feature is doing quit well.I have used it already several times Supporting BOINC, a great concept ! |

Hehe...guess what: I don't get Sixtrack tasks, too. Same Boinc message "no tasks available". What i'm getting are CMS, LHCb and Therory tasks. I think either my machine, or the project servers do behave strangely at the moment. Why mine when you can research? - GRIDCOIN - Real cryptocurrency without wasting hashes! https://gridcoin.us |

Sixtrackk okay, that is known and they are working on it If you get CMS, LHCb and Theory, but not Atlas, it would be helpful to get the concret message what you BOINC-Client tells you Go to "Tools", "Event log" and look what is written there regarding Atlas Supporting BOINC, a great concept ! |

I can't view my tasks: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /share/data/project-ssl/sixtrack/html/inc/db_conn.inc on line 125 |

Now that Atlas is out of tasks at the moment, i was able to test the feature "Accept work from other applications if no work is available" again. Guess what: it doesn't work. I'm not getting any task from other applications. Please fix this feature, or tell me what i have to do to make this work. Thanks and regards, djoser.
