I have enabled AMD-V on my new PC with Ryzen 5 1400 and results are rolling out. Why don't you believe me? I have mailed to Axel the text of the note Ben Segal wrote to me. Did he write to you?

Many thanks to you and to your old opteron for being the first on Theory tasks. Your relentless work on Theory undoubtedly paved the way for the rest of us. It's sad that we have a pretentious wannabe amongst us trying to take that honor away from you.

I shall only claim that I am the first user to have noticed that the Higgs boson has decayed in two tau quarks, as discovered by both the CMS and the Atlas groups . All the rest does not interest me, since I am a theoretical physicist.

I have doubled the RAM on my HP PC, from 8 GB to 16 GB. Now I have two Atlas@home tasks running on 4 cores of my Ryzen 5 1400 CPU..

I see Opterons are still used. My 1210 could be the oldest CPU to run Atlas tasks. But where is my new Ryzen 5 1400? It crunches well Atlas tasks but not Theory tasks, for reasons unknown.

Your Ryzen 5 1400 is now in the CPU-Stats (There are 11 Computer)

Since I brought the RAM to 16 GB Atlas runs on 8 cores, using 4.64 GB RAM, which agrees to the formula 2100 MB plus 300 MB times the core number. But my Ryzen has only 4 cores, how comes it runs 8 tasks plus a GPU task if present?

You run your Ryzen with "Hyperthreading enabled" (it's a BIOS switch).
Thus it reports more cores to the operating system (typically twice as much).
In your case 8 instead of 4.

Ryzen would use SMT=Simultaneous multithreading much like HT that intel use fo theading.
