Sixtrack aborts when graphics window closed.

I have an elderly PII 350Mhz machine running XP Pro and fitted with a Rage Pro graphics card. When I open the graphics window theres a 10s pause before anything happens, if I close it in that period Sixtrack instantly aborts. |

Theres a longish pause of whiteness in the graphics box before it goes black and says "measuring performance, ..." and if the window is closed in the white empty period sixtrack instantly aborts. |
