Yes this gives us some controll over the timeslicing system. It will not cause any problems if you set that option there. The other projects will pick it up as they update their server software.

If you're saying that sixtrack will use the setting if applied at e.g. seti, this is not true. Not from what I can see it isn't. sixtrack only complete one WU pr. return to sixtrack from the other projects. I've set it at 120 minutes on both CDPN and SAH, yet LHC still doesn't pay any heat to this setting and swtiches as soon as a WU is complete, at best about the 60 minutes that seems to be the standard, if not set otherwise at your accountpage at the project. which you still can't from LHC.
