| Description | Team is composed of members who would like to contribute personally and as a group to the computation of the probability of events at the Large Hadron Collider. If you are an individual who believes in the importance of this type of science, please join my group. The moniker, "Great White North," refers to the fact that I live in Canada - Vancouver, to be precise. Vancouver is the home of the Triumf Collider, one of the sponsors of the LHC@Home project and a participant in the LHC project. If you are interested in the very small or the very large, this is the project for you and I hope you will join my group. I also have a SETI@Home group - SETI:Great White North - which I would be pleased to have you join too. At prsent, I am contemplating and Einstein@Home group - you can guess the name - and, if I do form such a group, please join. Should you be involved in any other BOINC projects, I would be glad to include them in the Great White North family. At present I am using one home computer, however, I will shortly have two more computers, which I plan to network together. Come join. Maybe we can have some fun! |
