Work Units still pending?

Every time I had a look for results, they were there. Even in the time of drought, when no workunits were available, they stay aside. So please, don't kill them! Keep my old friends alive ;-) Happy crunching |

Pending Credit. Others granted

Posted 23 Dec 2005 by timethief Post: It seems to be a well known database problem: If a result is returned just when the others were granted, the result will never get credits automatically. process 1: start validation and granting credits process 2: receive result from client process 2: stores it in the DB as pendig process 1: stores granted credits in the DB and might override a state or timestamp It looks like a locking problem to me ... By the way, if someone would cleanup the DB manually, there is another pending result here: http://lhcathome.cern.ch/workunit.php?wuid=658138 Have a nice Xmas |

The result seems to be allright, only the system information of the host is a little damaged. But... is it a problem? It seems to me that the data will be fixed with the next connection automatically, like it happend when you made a system update on your host. A bit more nasty: the quota droped to 0 WU per day. |
