I keep on opening the computer expecting the tasks to be complete. The last 'hours' take days and then typically fails. Elapsed time keeps ticking but reamaining time doesn't change. I have 8 cores and 64GBs of RAM so that's not the issue. I have changed my preferences as suggested above but to no avail. All apps are up to date. I have tried re-loading the project as well. Nothing.
