It's getting released this November.

Still PS3 won't be useful for this program. We are already doing more then enough. The group that really needs it is Einstein.

If this idea pans out. I am going to buy PS3. I was looking to buy Wii only but this changed my mind.

Thank god it is out of work. Now i can finally do work on Ufluids. LHC is my main project so it is my number one pritory. I been in a race trying to get the highest RAC has possible. I couldn't take fighting people with better pcs and farms anymore. To crazy. Now i can relax and crunch for Ufluids. I hope LHC release their work in two weeks or so and that Ufluids remove their bugs.

Hey the more people who care about their stats the more work will be done. You should be happy. Stat hunters are more willing to spend their dollars (or Euros) for their farms. Which is good news for CERN.

That shows the importance of LHC@Home. It seems that Cern DO care but the guys responsible for the website can't be botherd to update. The website looks ancient.

Then there is a downtime of a few days / weeks, and more is issued. I suspect that this pattern will continue until the construction is complete. At which point, I hope that we will be given some of the particle tracks to follow.

How the hell would they be able to convert 1.2 gigabytes/s of work into to several kilobytes for us to be able to work. The work unti would pile up to much. Thats why they are creating the Grid. It can handle that kinda crazy power out put.

I feel greater efforts are needed to make students & teachers around the world aware of LHC@home. It still has very few members compared to SETI@home. I am pretty much sure that many more would like to join this project once they become aware of it. What do you say ?

I'm working on a music CD which I have entitled "Riding the graviton"
I'll be sure to mention it.
I thank all of you for your inspiration.

You do that and i will buy it :D.

Hell yeah. More publicity and work units

Thanks. I actually got Higgs Boson confused with Negative mass. I was reading about Nasa's Warp Drive, When? Website. They said if you put together an atom with a mass with one that has negative mass the mass would disappear.

I was running LHC@Home for the small hope they could produce Antimatter more efficiently but this is ever better. Who needs Antimatter when we can do that.

The biggest one is the screensaver problem. It pisses me off all the time. So now i just turn it off.

It's the story of the human race.

1:We learn something new and contiue to learn at a fast pace
2:The learning slows down
3:Someone comes up with a radical new plan
4:No one believes that person even if he can prove it.
5:Everyone then start to believe (Go to One)

I would say we are at stage 2 right now.
