Why wasn't homogenous redundancy introduced, instead or credit tweaking?

Invalid is invalid is 0 credit, no matter the cause imho.

Getting more or less than claimed is nothing unusual, as Hefto99 said, and as long as I would get credits, I would presume that I had only valid results.

Can anyone explain why this project has decided to change the common Boinc policy?
