Hi Joachim!

I have seen you're not assigned to any team. If you want to join a team, take a look at www.boinc-team.de

Teamname is Boinc@Heidelberg

BTW I am from Nuremberg ;-)

5) Message boards : Number crunching : shorter deadline please! (Message 7925)

This is from the Seti messageboard an posted from JM7:

There are three causes for entering earliest deadline mode:

1) Deadline within 24 hours.
2) Deadline withing 2 * duration between connections (connect every X).
3) If you order the WUs by deadline, if the sum of the remainig processing time exceeds 80% of the time to the deadline at any point in the chain.

I hope this will make things a little bit clearer

Unless I am very much mistaken there is mentioned "hopefully starting next week".

I would also prefer a start ASAP, because one of my boxes, which is attached only to Einstein und LHC has run out of WU's and Einstein is unreachable at the moment.

So I hope we will have a bunch of WU's soon from LHC

7) Message boards : Number crunching : So where did they go to? (Message 7749)

I just noticed that on May 7th one of my hosts has "received" 35 WU's and the other host 1 WU at nearly the same time, but I haven't got them. Several times this happens with Einstein for me, but not in this enormous quantity.
