Am I correct? The Grid is big, ultra-powerful, but its resources are limited, so that grid-computing is going slower as data collecting at LHC...

A new LHC project? WHY (to hell)? This means - current LHC@home will die? It is no fun at all - to collect Retired projects!
IMHO. For every new research to start a new BOINC project - this is a wrong way! We have a lot of projects, which are doing different researches (parallel or sequential, no matter). BOINC father (or mother, if You want) SETI@home has Multi-Beam and AstroPulse (and plans to start 3rd research), a veteran project Einstein@home has main Gravitational Wave search and additional Arecibo binary pulsar search... Finally, the best example of multi-research project may be World Community Grid.
I am discouraged...

De facto the batch, named wbnlaug10_DA-scaling-law1, is an example of genuine CPU time waste. ;-)
The question is - how and why this strange test or experiment is useful for LHC@home?
To commit the end of SixTrack stage and start of SixTrackBNL era???
Some explanation would be very welcome.

I don`t think so - validator is working.

I am repeating my old message:

This happens quite often since LHC@home went from minimum quorum 3, initial replication 5 to minimum quorum 2, initial replication 2. My stuck WUs from this year only:
3674999;
3737300;
3753405.
IMHO, possible reasons may be:
1. the results do not much (No consensus);
2. LHC@home validator is working a bit different as validators in another projects, so it does not recognize sometimes No consensus situations (for example, I never saw such stuck tasks having status Validation inconclusive or Marked as invalid - all of them are still Initial).

3) 24 hours after completion.
4) 60 seconds after the completion of upload if upload completes after any of 1 to 3...

Yes-yes-yes. It would be great, if this would be a truth!
2) is not working for BOINC 6.10 (including newest 6.10.43). Das funktioniert nicht! No matter, which value is set for X.

Thank You for reply, Aurora.

Thanks to all, who wrote replays here.
I upgraded a part of my machines to newest recommended BOINC version - 6.10.43. No difference, excluding some new commands for better control of GPU - AI of BOINC manager is still not able to calculate, how much is 2x2.
An example (actual to 6.10.43):
- Einstein has work for 2-3 days by deadline after 2 weeks;
- LHC task with estimated CPU time for 1 hour is downloaded;
- Einstein is going to panic mode immediately and not for hours - for days;
- LHC is absolutely blocked.
This situation is a true absurdity.
Second bad thing, actual to BOINC 6.10, is - if computer has enough work, BOINC manager is connecting to servers for reports and requests (no matter, which project, excluding CPDN) very rarely - for example, once in 1 day.
So, the question is - what to do?

Sorry, but Your question is a bit curious, because:
1) You computers are hidden;
2) You are asking what to do with Your task without link to this task.
1 + 2 = recommendations are impossible. ;-)
We can not see - which task, which type of CPU etc.

I am crunching AQUA@home...

IMHO, commercial projects are not worth to get our support at all. And, I think, such projects, based on some adroit business model (to snatch, grab computers of science-enthusiasts for free instead of own supercomputer) are hitting entire idea of BOINC and other DC projects.
If commercial projects want to use BOINC essentially, their credits must be convertible to dollars, ducats, rupees... alcohol :-) in exactly known ratios. They must pay real money for real useful job done!
