You are quite right - the screen saver has nothing much to do with the computing being done. It represents a number of particles moving under mutual attraction around a central point. There is no link to the particles in the Sixtrack model. The only data relating to the model being run is the count of the number of turns.

That said, it is very pretty!

In the screensaver, there are particles moving around each other, but what does this represent? They don't look like they can be particle orbit simulations.
