3) Message boards : Number crunching : what is this on boinc 4.38?????????????? please (Message 7754)

Post:
even the actual 4.25 one is not quite reliable
quoting http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php#windows

* The BOINC screensaver conflicts with Microsoft Intellitype software.
* Applications that were built before October 2004 do not display screensaver graphics with the Service or Shared installation, or the Single-user installation with the password protect screensaver option on NT based machines.
* If BOINC runs at the same time as Windows XP 3D screensavers, the system becomes sluggish and unresponsive.
* Dial-up users should choose the single-user installation.
* Graphics sometimes do not work with ATI Graphics card. If you have this problem, please visit the SETI@home Q&A area, fill in the requested information, and click on the "I also have this question" button.

If you experience any of these problems, we recommend using BOINC version 4.19.

good thing I still use the good old 4.19 :)

"They have a bigger amplitude at the beginn ('bang') of the simulation and could abort."
ok, so that's why... (well, I looked partly at the "'0 cpu' problem solved?", but since it started some weeks ago, I thought this was about the original problem)

(english) Hello there. I have 4 WU that show 0 CPU time after completion -- since the symptoms are identical to the infamous 0 CPU time bug, I thought it'd be better to tell you.
Below is the WU's ID (handwritten, so there's a possibility of typo)
Using : sixtrack 4.67

hmmm strange, I still seems to be under 4.64 (windows version) -seems I'll have to wait a few days, or I'll reset after the WU are done.
