Hmm... I'm having the same issue, with all LHC@home projects. I'm running Win10, and the hardware includes an Intell 6600K with a GTX 1070. I've tried restarting BOINC, and even suspending other projects I'm working on. They will typically work for about 10 minutes, and then they are postponed with the "VM Hypervisor..." message.

Is this a larger problem on their end? This seems to be an ongoing issue for a lot of people.

I keep getting the following message from the server:

"CMS Simulation needs 725.25MB more disk space. You currently have 6904.15 MB available and it needs 7629.39 MB."

The thing is, the drive on which I have the program currently shows over 50GB free, my SSD has over 17GB free, and my archive drive has over 2TB free. Even if it were storing data in a different drive than BOINC, this shouldn't be an issue. Further, if this is GPU space needed, my card (GTX 1070) has 8GB of RAM, so I can't imagine a single memory bottleneck in my system.

Please advise
