What is the current WU deadline?

1 week, not 1 day.

Unbelievable !
Wus again !!

Have a look at Scarecrow's graphs. You will see that yesterday around 12.00hrs 20.000 WU's were grabbed within an hours time. It seems to me that these WU's are being resend.

Have a good and prospere 2007, with lots of WU's to crunch :-)

In this result set there is a machine that has crunched a wu in an unreasonably short time, but is flagged as valid.

All results of that machine seem very unlikely to be correct.

If you look at the debug info, there is no Sixtrack.exe mentioned, rather there is a bunch of seti stuff in the debug.
I think it's more likely that the boinc client has gotten confused rather than an overheating issue.

Similar problem in thread http://lhcathome.cern.ch/forum_thread.php?id=2387

If you like LHC@home and LHC@home Alpha, sign this LHC@home Alpha petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/LHCalpha/petition.html.

Hi Henry,

When someone starts a petition mostly he/she gives an elaborate reason why he/she wants the item mentioned in the petition.
When reading your petition I would not know why LHC should open LHC Alpha. Is it to help the Alpha-project, is it because you like the science, is it to share your knowledge about Boinc-projects with the Alpha-people or is it just to collect another project to your list of Boinc-projects ?

I think River is correct in saying that LHC is better off with people that stay a longer time than short 'visitors' that will abandon the project when the first problem occur. Or start boring rants why they don't get enough credits.

Personally on most of my puters I only run stable versions since I don't have enough time to check all the log-files and report problems. Only my home PC is being used for some new/alpha-projects.

I hope for you that Alpha needs some additional testers soon and open (or invite people). But I don't know if I would spent much time on it.

Great.
It worked for me too. I also noticed that my team was empty and fixed it also.

Thanks for the tip.
9) Message boards : Number crunching : Each upload generates new computer-id (Message 13827)

Today I got my first WorkUnits form LHC and I noticed that many separate Computer-IDs were generated. It seems that for each result a new ID was generated. Okay, I know that I can Merge all computers into 1 single computer, but LHC may run out off ID's pretty soon :-)

I'm running BOINC on CPDN and Einstein without problems.

Running the latest BOINC-version and BoincStudio 0.55 (a great add-on when running BOINC on multiple computers)

All suggestions to solve my problem are welcome,
Tia, Leon
