New Statistics Script for LHC@home
(Message 3908)
Posted 16 Oct 2004 by Petrus Post: Hi guys, finally I have finished scripting and Version 1.0 is available. This one is tested both on Windows and Linux systems and should work fine. There are lots of improvements, like - PHP5 no longer needed - all settings can be made within the webinterface - more information on the counters - more statistics are fetched The project is now hosted on Sourceforge, so the webpage is here, the support forum is here, and the Download is HERE. If you haven't got a server, you can still create an account on my server where the script is running, too: Klick here. Greetings Petrus |

New Statistics Script for LHC@home

Posted 9 Oct 2004 by Petrus Post: Sry for the files not being accessible during the last few hours, but I experienced problems with running the script on a Linux Server (which are nearly all webservers ^^). Now the incompatibilities should be fixed and the downloads are available again. If you find any bugs, it would be great if you could post them here. Thx Petrus |

Posted 8 Oct 2004 by Petrus Post: Hi@all I have improved the script now and also updated the downloads! Download as .zip-file Download as self-executing .rar-file Changes: - Counter-URLs can be showed on a special site - Adminpass can be changed - User Summary page - Updatecheck for the script - Error Message looks nicer ;) - optional transparency->off for the counters by adding &transparency=off the the Counter-URL (so you can use transparency in some cases and in others not) >Looks promissing. One thing I think would be >essential is to make the counters dynamic >in regards to width instead of the fixed width. I fixed that (now VERY long user/teamnames are supported ^^). Thx for bugtracking! >but there are GPL'd php scripts Really? I didn't find any which are Open Source. Another thing is that many of these scripts use backends written in C/C++ so they need more time to configure. Greetings Petrus |

New Statistics Script for LHC@home
(Message 3322)
Posted 7 Oct 2004 by Petrus Post: Hello everyone! Since I did not find a personal LHC-statistics-script, I wrote one during the last week. Its not like these web-based ones, but very similar to Seticounter. Currently I am shortly before Final Release of v1.0, so if someone could test it on his/her own server, this could be good for bugtracking. You can download it from here. Its completely written in PHP, so what you need is the following: - PHP 4 The following would be good, but is not needed: - PHP 5 for some special functions - GD Library - your own server to have a longer PHP_MAX_EXECUTION_LIMIT ;) You can also help me by using the counter on my Server (and so you will get an LHC-Counter). Account Creating is found here (in German ^^, foreign languages might come in later relases...). Please note that your counter will be accessible after the next data update, which are at 0, 6, 12 and 18 o'clock GMT+1. |
