My Uploads are not working either. It's a bit frustrating.Oh the joys of computing! But alas.... I will continue onward :)

For some reason I have received over a dozen failed downloads of work. This has not happened in this new work ever, All my other projects are working fine. Please check into it, thanks.

Hi Neasan,
I was wondering why the Data processed quite a while back which gave over 300 points of credit was not awarded yet? Thanks for your time.

5) Message boards : Number crunching : pending credit (Message 22321)
Posted 17 May 2010 by Profile Dr. Ronald C. Spencer
Post:
I don't know what the problem is. You should have received credit by now. Even I have over 300 points of credit pending. It seems other projects are behind giving people credit for work done as well on occasion. As a professional astronomer, I apologize. I don't know what the reason is. I know several have left this project because of very low work assignments and inability to grant credit properly but I would advise sticking with this project as they really need the help and the bottom line is this, I think the staff are good folk and they try their best.
I hope all receive their credit soon. Good Luck :)

Post:
I was wondering why I see numerous questions by people helping LHC@home that are ignored. Does the LHC@home staff consist of just two people? As a professional astronomer I can truely say that if my students or those who are helping in a research project didn't feel they could come up to me freely and ask a question pertaining to astronomy then they wouldn't be inspired to have astronomy or atro-physics as a major would they?
7) Questions and Answers : Windows : Granting of Credit (Message 19156)
Posted 3 Mar 2008 by Profile Dr. Ronald C. Spencer
Post:
I have not had a problem with LHC@home granting the credit I have earned with the exception of one case. On November 12th of 2007 I uploaded a work unit and was waiting for a credit of 6.65 to be granted. Here we are in March of 2008 and that credit of 6.65 has not been processed yet. I was in hopes you folks at LHC@home can correct that long wait by either finally granting that 6.65 credit or deleting it from the stats area. Thanks very much for your help.

8) Questions and Answers : Windows : 19,099 Work Units to Crunch, yet Boinc tells me, "Out of Work" (Message 17392)
Posted 19 Jul 2007 by Profile Dr. Ronald C. Spencer
Post:
It seems the bugs in the system still need working on. It is a bit frustrating out of the 5 Boinc projects I am involved in, this one seems unable to provide the work evenly or consistantly. I understand though the nightmare of tranferring from one facility to another and your trying to do your best. It's just that I would like to contribute more to your worthy research on a regular basis.
9) Questions and Answers : Windows : So long, Farwell! (Message 14347)
Posted 18 Jul 2006 by Profile Dr. Ronald C. Spencer
Post:
After 6 weeks of receiving NO work units to crunch and seeing thousand's were given out through the BOINC system I no longer see any sense in being involved in this research. I have 3 other programs that consistantly produce work so I will continue with them. SETI@home, Einstein@Home, FightAIDS@home.

11) Questions and Answers : Windows : Invalid results problem (Message 13216)
Posted 31 Mar 2006 by Profile Dr. Ronald C. Spencer
Post:
I too, have just received an "Invalid result" which equals no credit as a result. This is a bit annoying but I don't understand all the particulars.
This has occurred multiple times to other people.
Not a drawing attraction by any means to someone who wants to help in this
research.
For those who receive invalid results, try to hang in there and keep supporting this research even though at times it may feel like a slap in the face for dedication to the project, after all it's really not that at all.
LHC@home is a great project, so let's keep standing behind it and be there for scientific value.
12) Questions and Answers : Windows : Any idea when we will get more work? (Message 13142)

I am in hopes that the good folk at LHC@home can give us a heads up as to when we might expect new work units to process.
