I checked out the client_state.xml. and in the Long_Term_Debt tag the number is -4679.423516 I am guessing this is correct?

I really enjoy the extra's added into this version the only problem I've been having is that if I go to update a project in order to get new work nothing happens, anyone got any ideas as to why, this has only recently started and I'm wondering if its a problem that is solely LHC related since the work here has only started been available again.

There doesn't seem to be anything in the troubleshooting section.

But I was wondering if you've checked set up your preferences yet, the main reason I've found that work units don't download is having your preferences set to download every set number of days, which also determines the amount of work you'll get.
You probably know all this from being in other projects but LHC seems to be a little testy sometimes, I would also suggest authorizing your computer to connect to the internet when work is required.
Otherwise my only other suggestion would be detaching from the project and re-attaching but making sure that you are online at the same time.

Sorry if my suggestions are known to you but I thought it best to include all the situations I've had to resolve.

Thanks that was most helpfull, about the sig though, I don't have a ">" between img & src but I do have a space so I'll remove that, why is it by the way?

I guess maybe I didn't explain myself clearly enought, I was meaning is there work available to download 24/7 from the different projects?

Does it download work at any time during that period, what I'm trying to find out is, is work distributed when the computers or servers or whatever it is aren't monitored by personel?

Is it possible to set it up so that BOINC downloads multiple work units or not?

I know that there is always a limited amount of wu's to go around all the users but I just thought that being able to download multiple units (number limit of couse) would be most helpful.
Never know, might even mean that there are more wu's to go around since they'll be able to analyze "sets" & there may not be the users that are signed up to multiple projects loggin on daily for new wu's.

I also had this message come up but I suspect that it was due to LHC's server being down around that time.

Just my opinion of course, could be wrong

I'm relatively new to BOINC, only been using it for about a month now so I'm curious about the pirates@home project, is it open to sign up?
I haven't heard of it so was wondering what the deal is.
