The most important reason I have for this project is (as mentioned before) that the data is being used to construct the LHC. Searching for signals and folding proteins have enormous value, but this project has a specific goal and endpoint.

Ever since my idea was denied for building the LHC out of one million Slinkys, I figured this is probably the only way I'll be able to contribute to the construction of a big hole in the ground.

Wait until LHC is back up and running. It will eventually change for you on your local client. It won't matter now anyway because the BOINC CC is reallocating LHC's share to the rest of the projects you are running.

Or, if it really bothers you right now, change it back to the number it was before, then change all the other BOINC projects to achieve the percentages you need. Don't forget that the total of the numbers can add up to anything and not necessarily 100.

Saw the news on the front page too. I have never crunched LHC at 100% and I never will. But it's not worth quitting over. Like all in this thread, I have more important problems in my life than to worry about a few zero credits.
