Hi!

I just noticed many (about 200) failed WUs on my account since beginning of September.
The new executable sixtrack_lin32_4630_sse2.linux (sixtrack version 4630) segfaults with the message

FATAL: kernel too old

The previous version 45107 was running normally.

What is the minimum expected kernel version?

> uname -r
2.6.31.14-0.8-default

Thanks!

... and another one for the list:
WU 1704600

I wonder if anybody is investigating this...

I don't think it's about word wrap. The fix design is just too wide for 1024px.

I see you have reduced the width of the content to 700px. This removed the horizontal scroll bar.
But I think you should try width:auto before those users with bigger screens complain about the wasted empty space on the right ;-)

With the width thing this has been mentioned once or twice and I fixed it a while ago and cannot see any scroll bars in IE, FF, Safari, Opera, Camino on Mac and Win at any resolution, please do a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) to make sure you have the newest version of the CSS
...
OK it's done I think, it was a problem with FF and word wrapping (i.e. it doesn't do that)

Most of the previous references to scroll bars were about the Forum, not the main and account pages. The server status page also has the scroll bar, even there's no content left off the screen.
(checked with Mozilla1.7.13 Win/Linux and IE)

I think this was not mentioned before: The wide menu and the positioning and padding of the content is causing horizontal scroll bars with 1024x768 resolution. That's impractical at least for the account pages.
Other BOINC projects are not displaying the menu on those pages, just like it's here in the forum.
Does the menu have to be on every page? There's always the 'Return to LHC@home main page' link at the bottom.
(Personally I like the way Seti@home does it, display just a very small menu at the top of the page.)
